This Thanksgiving, while I eat a meal with friends, I will know that at Standing Rock, Indians are crying and being attacked for protecting their water source from the oil pipeline.

I’m really having a hard time as I’m feeling so helpless in not being able to support these people. We need to keep our water clean and the only ones standing for that are the Indians. What gentle people. So inspiring that many have come from all over the world to support and help protect water.

The ignorant White man is still trying to wipe out the last bit of native america there is and now risking their own sources of water as well. The Indians are teaching us something. Each small war they wage to protect water and lose, should be making us think for a bit. If they don’t have a right to protect it? Then NO ONE does. What will we leave for our children’s children’s children.

The violence towards them is sickening. Tear gas. Water cannons at night. Rubber bullets. And they don’t fight back.

Thanksgiving was based on how the Indians helped us and what are we doing to them now?

Protect big business. Ignore the humans?

Even the police with their tear gas will need clean water all their life. It’s insane.

God has not intervened.

Why are things seeming to get worse? The world is fucking scary and now it’s in our back yards and going to be controlled by an insane, mean spirited orange thing.

I wish I could hug Earth from space. It’s not just the Indians opposing this, it’s Mother Earth speaking through the tribes.

Frankly my voice wants to scream. “leave them the fuck alone!”
